Viewing Triptiva via the Demo Computer

Prerequisites: Connecting to the Demo computer requires a java applet. Most computers today have the applet installed. If you receive a missing Java applet error, go to www.java.com and click the Free Java Download icon to install the missing applet before continuing.

 

Purpose: This article tells you how to logon to the Demo version of Triptiva. Once logged on you can see Triptiva in action. With one or two exceptions, the demo is a fully functioning copy. The Demo allows you to enter data, delete data, make a reservation, give yourself a raise, etc. First time users often find it beneficial for us to provide an online overview. If this applies to you, give us a call (800.373.2281) and we can schedule a showing. The demo version allows everyone to log on simultaneously to see what each other is doing. You will find the Demo copy useful to test functions and for staff training. Contact us for a username and password.

 

Steps to view the Demo version of Triptiva:

  1. In your browser, go to www.triptiva.com.

  2. Click Demo on the menu bar.

  3. Click Click Here to Access Demo button.

  4. The Real VNC screen will appear. Click the OK button to continue.

  1. You will see a popup window asking, "Do you want to continue connecting?" Click Yes.

  1. A popup window will appear requesting a password. Enter the (case sensitive) password provided to you by Triptiva.

 

  1. When the Windows log in screen appears, click Demo. Enter the second (case sensitive) password provided to you by Triptiva.

  1. The computer desktop screen will appear. Click the Triptiva icon to begin the program. Enter the username and password provided to you by Triptiva to log in to the program.

  1. You may notice that the Triptiva screen colors for the demo program are a little faded. By minimizing colors through VNC, Triptiva is able to run from a variety of computers and monitors without excessive delay. Be assured that Triptiva running on a desktop and or the web has full color.
